Inspired by one of my favourite Disney movies, King of the Jungle depicts a lone male lion surveying his domain. Created out of thousands of dots, this artwork was completed using the stippling or dotting technique, using a 0.1mm fine liner to build the tonal range of the subject using tiny dots. The artwork is completed by being framed in a black frame with black mountboard, resulting in a completed A3 sized artwork. The frame is included in the sale but there is the option to later reframe the artwork in a frame of your own choice. This artwork took over 100 hours to complete, after all his royal majesty obviously deserved the devoted attention!
