The original artwork was completed using acrylic paint on canvas. Known for their speed and hunting instincts, this cheetah is caught in a rare moment of stillness and watchfulness. With the wind ruffling its fur, this cheetah could easily be mistaken for our beautiful pet cats…except a lot bigger, not house trained and in some cases (but not all) more liable to take your hand off. In spite of this, the artwork aims to capture the cheetah’s natural beauty through a brief moment of pause.
